IIOJK Bar Association demands independent probe into civilian’s killing 

Srinagar, May 16, 2022 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, High Court Bar Association has expressed deep concern and anguish over the killing of 22 years old youth, Shoaib Ganie by Indian troops in Shopian district, yesterday.

The Bar Association in a statement issued in Srinagar demanded an independent investigation of the gruesome killing to unfold the truth and bring the culprits to justice. Shoaib Ganie, a resident of Turkawangham, was injured in the firing by Indian troops near the bridge connecting Litter Pulwama with Turkawangham in the district, yesterday.

He was referred to District Hospital, Pulwama, for treatment where he succumbed. The Bar Association citing locals contradicted the Indian claim that Shoaib was martyred in cross firing. The Bar expressed condolences with the members of the bereaved family.
