IIOJK authorities to set up high-security prison

Srinagar, August 13, 2021 (PPI-OT): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the authorities are planning to construct a high-security prison which will be equipped with modern gadgets for security and surveillance. The Revenue Department of the territory has reportedly transferred 204 Kanals of state land at Dhar Dharochan in Bhalwal area of Jammu district to the Prison department for establishment of IIOJK’s first-ever high security prison. At present there are 13 functional prisons which include two central jails, nine district jails, one special jail and one sub-jail in IIOJK.
