IGP Visits Hospitalized SP Mehfooz Kiani, Reviews Police Administrative Matters


ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, visited the hospital to meet with SP Mehfooz Kiani, who is currently undergoing treatment, and to boost his morale. This visit was part of a broader engagement with police officers, aimed at ensuring their well-being.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, IGP Rizvi inquired about SP Kiani’s health and received a briefing on his treatment. He expressed his wishes for a quick recovery and directed hospital staff to provide the best medical facilities, emphasizing the importance of thorough care during the treatment process. He remarked that police officers are valuable assets to the department and highlighted the familial support available to officers.



In addition to the hospital visit, IGP Rizvi held a meeting with DIG Headquarters Malik Jameel Zafar, Chief Traffic Officer Muhammad Sarfraz Virk, and AIG Legal Tahir Kazim. The meeting included a detailed review of the administrative matters of the Islamabad Police, traffic management, and security arrangements.



IGP Rizvi issued directives to enhance administrative efficiency, improve traffic flow, and strengthen security measures with public convenience as a priority. He reiterated the commitment of the Islamabad Police to protect citizen lives and property, and to maintain peace and order in the city with dedication. He affirmed the department’s mission to serve and protect the public at all costs.
