IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi Conducts Public Hearing at Central Police Office.

Islamabad: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi held a Khuli Katchery at the Central Police Office in Islamabad, where he heard the concerns of citizens and police officers, promptly issuing directives for their resolution.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the IGP emphasized that addressing citizens’ issues on merit is a top priority, warning that negligence and carelessness in duties will not be tolerated. Rizvi encouraged citizens facing any police-related issues to attend the Khuli Katchery, assuring them that his office is always open for public concerns.

IGP Rizvi instructed the relevant officers to resolve grievances on merit within a stipulated time frame and report back to the Central Police Office. Additionally, he urged all Sub-Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs) and Station House Officers (SHOs) to maintain designated office hours and prioritize resolving citizen issues.

He highlighted the various measures being taken by Islamabad Police to facilitate citizens, noting that holding Khuli Katchery daily aids in resolving issues efficiently. Rizvi also directed all zonal officers and SHOs to engage with citizens during office hours, ensuring prompt and fair resolution of their issues.
