Islamabad: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi chaired a meeting to evaluate public service delivery, recruitment transparency, and security measures within the Islamabad Police. The meeting also addressed the advancement of modern policing techniques.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting included DG Safe City/DIG Traffic Muhammad Haroon Joya, DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq, DIG Headquarters Muhammad Ateeq Tahir, and DIG Security Rana Umar Farooq. Discussions focused on improving public service, ensuring merit-based recruitment, and enhancing the protection of citizens’ lives and property.

IGP Rizvi assigned specific tasks to senior officers with set timelines, emphasizing the need for timely achievement of objectives and continuous monitoring of progress. He highlighted the importance of maintaining efficiency, transparency, and public-oriented policing across departments.

Further directives included delivering high-quality and timely public services, maintaining transparency in recruitment, and leveraging modern technology to improve policing. Officers were instructed to uphold professionalism, accountability, and transparency in their duties.
