Islamabad: In an effort to enhance the welfare and institutional collaboration within the Islamabad Police, Inspector General of Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi convened a meeting to review ongoing and proposed projects. According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting was attended by senior officials, including DIG Headquarters Malik Jameel Zafar and AIG Logistics Abdul Haq Umrani.

During the meeting, IGP Rizvi emphasized the importance of transparency, quality, and timely completion of development projects to provide maximum facilities for police officials and their families. Proposals were discussed to boost investor confidence and advance new welfare and residential projects, aiming to improve the institution’s performance.

IGP Rizvi also met with the Member Engineering CDA and DG Works to evaluate construction projects at police stations and other locations. The focus was on maintaining standards and ensuring timely project delivery to benefit both officers and citizens.

Additionally, in a gesture of appreciation, IGP Rizvi honored retired Inspector Muhammad Afzal for his distinguished service, highlighting the value of such officers to the institution.
