Islamabad: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry commended the exemplary performance of police officers by awarding certificates of appreciation and addressed officers’ grievances during a meeting with SP City Zone Muhammad Khurram Ashraf and his team. The initiative aims to motivate law enforcement personnel and enhance public safety operations in the capital.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the IGP invited officers who demonstrated commendable service to the Central Police Office, acknowledging their dedication and professional capabilities. The IGP emphasized the importance of intensifying efforts against criminal activities and taking measures to ensure citizens’ safety.

In addition to recognizing achievements, the IGP conducted an Orderly Room session to personally address both departmental and personal issues of police officers. Immediate directives were issued to resolve grievances, reinforcing the commitment to effective service delivery and maintaining law and order.

The IGP stressed the importance of professionalism and dedication in upholding the rule of law, ensuring timely public relief, and protecting life and property in Islamabad.
