IGP Islamabad Leads Strategic Discussions on Safe City Project and Development Initiatives

ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, convened a significant meeting focusing on the Safe City Islamabad project and related development initiatives.

The meeting included key figures such as DG Safe City Muhammad Haroon Joya, SSP Security, AIG Logistics, Director Special Initiatives, and Assistant Director Planning and Development. The discussions centered on optimizing the use of modern technology in the Safe City project and implementing foolproof security measures in the federal capital.

The participants also examined the logistical needs of the police force and explored new projects aimed at improving facilities for citizens. Strategies to enhance police performance, develop professional skills, and elevate public service standards were key points in the deliberations.

IGP Rizvi emphasized the commitment of the Islamabad Police to leveraging technology, strategic planning, and modern administrative practices. These efforts are aligned with contemporary requirements to ensure that Islamabad becomes a safer and more peaceful city.

He further highlighted that the welfare of police officers and the safeguarding of citizens’ lives and property remain top priorities for the department.
