ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi held a Khuli Katchery at the Central Police Office in Islamabad, inviting citizens and police officials to voice their grievances. The event aimed to facilitate direct communication and ensure immediate action on public concerns, underscoring the police department’s commitment to transparency and accountability.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the IGP personally attended to the issues presented by attendees and provided on-the-spot directives to senior police officers for swift resolution. Emphasizing the importance of addressing citizens’ issues with fairness, IGP Rizvi reiterated that negligence or dereliction of duty would not be tolerated, and he encouraged citizens to bring forward any police-related issues. “My office is always open to the citizens,” he stated.

IGP Rizvi further instructed officers to resolve public grievances within the designated timeframe and to report back to the Central Police Office with compliance updates. He also emphasized that Sub-Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs) and Station House Officers (SHOs) should adhere to their office hours to better serve the public. Highlighting ongoing initiatives, he noted that the daily Khuli Katchery plays a crucial role in ensuring that public grievances are addressed promptly and with priority.
