Islamabad: In a series of critical meetings at the Central Police Office, IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi addressed key issues concerning policing, security, and development within the city. The meetings aimed at improving administrative efficiency, advancing technological use, and enhancing public safety measures.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the IGP was briefed by DIG Headquarters on various aspects including administrative matters, welfare concerns, service issues, and promotions within the police force. Emphasizing the importance of transparency and accountability, IGP Rizvi directed that officers’ and personnel’s problems be prioritized and resolved with merit.

Further discussions with AIG General and Development and the Director Safe City revolved around development projects and the enhancement of the Safe City system. IGP Rizvi stressed the need for modern technology adoption to improve citywide surveillance and timely crime prevention.

In meetings with AIG Establishment and AIG Legal, the focus was on reviewing administrative and legal affairs, issuing instructions for police welfare, and improving professional performance. The IGP highlighted the necessity of a professional police force for public trust, underscoring training and adherence to law.

Discussions with SSP SWAT Force involved enhancing professional training and operational capabilities. Directives were given for SWAT personnel to be trained to meet contemporary needs effectively.

IGP Rizvi later surveyed public places, reviewing security measures and instructing officers to ensure citizen safety through organized and alert duty performance. He reiterated the police’s primary role in maintaining law and order and fostering community trust through courteous interaction and prompt responses.
