Islamabad: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, conducted a comprehensive review of the security measures and law enforcement strategies in place within the federal capital during a meeting at the Central Police Office.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting was attended by senior police officials and focused on assessing the current state of security arrangements, the law and order situation, crime control initiatives, and the traffic management system in the city. During this session, IGP Rizvi emphasized the necessity of maintaining law and order at all costs, instructing officers to enforce strict checks at all entry and exit points and to closely monitor individuals deemed suspicious.

IGP Rizvi also issued directives aimed at preventing crime and intensifying the crackdown on criminal activities, urging officers to fully engage in efforts to make the city crime-free. Measures such as effective patrolling and ensuring the arrest of court absconders and proclaimed offenders were highlighted as priorities.

In addition to crime control, directions were given to the Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Islamabad to ensure a smooth traffic flow, optimize facilities for citizens during peak hours, and take strict legal action against those obstructing traffic. The IGP reiterated that safeguarding the lives, property, and dignity of citizens, along with providing comprehensive services, remains the foremost priority for the Islamabad Police.
