Karachi, IG Sindh Rifat Mukhtar Raja recently conducted a Police Darbar at Garden Police Headquarters South, focusing on the problems and challenges faced by police officers and staff, and emphasizing on their welfare and performance.

According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Sindh, IG Sindh Rifat Mukhtar Raja listened attentively to the issues raised by police officers and other staff members. He ordered senior officers present at the event to implement corrective measures immediately. The IG was greeted by a police band upon his arrival at the Police Headquarters Garden South, signaling the respect and protocol for his position.

In his speech, IG Sindh expressed his complete satisfaction with the efforts and hard work of the Sindh Police. He praised the Sindh Police as the best in the country, acknowledging the challenges they have faced, including martyrdoms and various difficulties. Despite these challenges, he assured that the police force would confront future obstacles head-on.

Emphasizing his responsibility towards the welfare and facilities of the police personnel, IG Sindh stated that their performance is crucial for maintaining law and order. He stressed the importance of combating crimes, including corruption, to not only uphold the police’s performance but also to earn the pride and trust of the people of Sindh.

The event was attended by high-ranking officials, including Additional IG Karachi, Zonal DIGs, DIG Traffic Karachi, District S, SPs Karachi, and other senior officers. The Police Darbar served as a platform for addressing the concerns of the police force and reinforcing the commitment of the Sindh Police leadership towards improving the welfare and working conditions of its officers and staff.
