IG Sindh Reviews Election Preparations at Expocentreversy MS School in District City


Karachi, In a significant move to ensure the smooth conduct of upcoming elections, IG Sindh Rafat Mukhtar Raja inspected the Expocentreversy MS School in Napier, District City, focusing on the distribution of polling materials and the implementation of security measures. This visit underscores the high level of commitment from the Sindh Police to facilitate a peaceful election and polling process.



According to Sindh Police, the inspection by IG Sindh included meetings with security officers and personnel on duty at the site. Rafat Mukhtar Raja emphasized the importance of adhering to the contingency plan laid out for election security, ensuring that all arrangements are meticulously followed to prevent any disruptions during the polling.



Highlighting the importance of maintaining vigilance, IG Sindh instructed that police deputation should remain at their designated duty points without fail, ensuring no gaps in security coverage. Additionally, he ordered that provisions be made to supply food and other necessary facilities to the officers and men stationed for election duties, acknowledging their hard work and dedication.



The presence of the DIG East at the visit alongside IG Sindh Rafat Mukhtar Raja further indicated the collaborative effort among the senior ranks of the Sindh Police to oversee and guarantee a secure environment for the electoral process. This initiative reflects the police force’s honor and responsibility in upholding democracy and law and order during critical times such as elections.
