IG Sindh Rafat Mukhtar Raja Addresses Police Grievances in Karachi

Karachi, In a notable effort to address internal concerns, IG Sindh Rafat Mukhtar Raja recently held a meeting with police officers and personnel at the Central Police Office in Karachi. The gathering included 14 police officers and personnel, comprising one inspector, six sub-inspectors, five constables, and two female officers. The meeting focused on discussing the challenges and difficulties faced by the police force, as highlighted in the Police Darbar held at the Police Headquarters Garden South.

According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Sindh, the police employees presented various issues to IG Sindh, including matters related to the death quota, promotions, salaries, and employment. These submissions reflect the ongoing concerns within the police force regarding career progression and workplace conditions. IG Sindh, in response, instructed the senior police officers present at the meeting to adhere strictly to rules and regulations while addressing these grievances.

Further, IG Sindh emphasized the need for an effective mechanism at the district level to promptly and efficiently address the legitimate complaints of officers and personnel in the field. This approach aims to ensure that concerns are heard and resolved in a timely manner, thereby fostering a more supportive and responsive working environment within the police force.
