IG Sindh Calls for Enhanced Cooperation Among Private Security Agencies

Karachi, IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon met with a delegation from All Pakistan Security Agencies to discuss the challenges and necessary improvements within private security operations in Karachi. The meeting aimed to bolster the effectiveness of security measures through enhanced cooperation and adherence to standard operating procedures.

According to Sindh Police, the discussions centered on the necessity for private security companies to maintain rigorous standards in the training and recruitment of security personnel. IG Memon emphasized the importance of sharing detailed security information regarding foreigners and particularly Chinese nationals not involved in CPEC projects, to strengthen police oversight and response capabilities.

The meeting, which included high-ranking officials such as DIGs from various departments, focused on the implementation of a uniform security manual and the closure of uncertified security firms. IG Memon assured the delegation of Sindh Police’s readiness to support the training initiatives and enforce compliance to ensure public safety and order.
