Lahore, Inspector General of Punjab Police, Dr. Usman Anwar, paid a visit to DIG Operations Lahore, Ali Nasir Rizvi, in the wake of his eye operation, expressing his support and admiration for the DIG’s unwavering commitment to the force and citizens’ safety.
According to a news release by the Punjab Police, the visit took place at Services Hospital where Dr. Usman Anwar checked on the well-being of DIG Operations Lahore and assured full support to Rizvi’s family during this time. The IG Punjab also extended a kind gesture by presenting a bouquet of flowers to DIG Rizvi, praying for his rapid recovery. During his visit, Dr. Anwar emphasized the importance of providing the best treatment facilities to DIG Rizvi, and he commended him for his valor and dedication to the force. Highlighting Rizvi’s sacrifices, IG Punjab said that officers of Rizvi’s stature are the pillars of the police department, showcasing unwavering dedication to the safety of the citizens, even at the cost of personal well-being.
The visit saw the presence of other esteemed police officials, including MD Punjab Safe Cities Authority, Ahsan Younas; CTO Lahore, Mustansar Feroze; AIG Admin, Amara Athar; SSP Operations Lahore, Ali Raza; and ASP, Syeda Shaherbano. They all accompanied the IG Punjab during this gesture of solidarity and support.
