Bahawalpur: In response to a severe assault on a citizen over a land dispute at Police Station Sadar Yazman in Bahawalpur, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has taken decisive steps to address the incident and ensure justice for the victim.
According to Punjab Police, IG Punjab directed DPO Bahawalpur Asad Sarfraz Khan to personally visit the victim at Civil Hospital and meet with his relatives to assure them of the police’s full cooperation. Following the incident, which occurred the previous day, the main suspect, Iqrar Hussain, has been arrested, and efforts to capture other involved parties are ongoing.
IG Anwar has ordered that no effort be spared in providing the best possible medical care to the injured citizen, reinforcing the commitment to swift recovery and rigorous enforcement of the law against all perpetrators.
