Faisalabad, During visits to Faisalabad and Gujranwala, Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar inspected the ongoing Safe City projects, which are aimed at enhancing crime prevention, traffic management, and public safety in the regions. In Faisalabad, he expressed satisfaction with the rapid progress being made on the local Safe City initiative.
According to Punjab Police, the Faisalabad project review included briefings by RPO Faisalabad Dr. Muhammad Abid Khan and MD Safe City Ahsan Younas. Dr. Anwar commended the efforts of the local team for their efficiency. Later, in Gujranwala, Dr. Anwar was joined by RPO Gujranwala Tayyab Hafeez Cheema, CPO Muhammad Ayaz Saleem, and other senior officers to review the Safe City project and other police infrastructure under construction, including police lines and the CPO office. He laid flowers at the memorial of police martyrs at Ashraf Marth Shaheed Police Lines and issued directives to ensure the timely completion of these critical projects.
