IG Punjab Reviews Construction at Model Town Police Station

Lahore, Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, conducted an inspection visit to the Model Town Police Station in Lahore, where he reviewed the progress of ongoing construction works, including the Special Initiative Police Station project.

According to Punjab Police, included a thorough inspection of the ongoing work in the SDPO office. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar provided specific directions regarding the construction of barracks and other offices within the Model Town police station. During his visit, DIG Operations Lahore Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi and other officers briefed IG Punjab on the construction work.

Dr. Usman Anwar directed the completion of all pending works, including the Saaiban project, emphasizing the importance of effective coordination with the Communication and Works Department. He stressed the need for the speedy completion of police offices in the station as per the issued instructions.

IG Punjab inspected the construction work on both floors of the facility, issuing further instructions to the officers. He remarked that police stations and offices are being upgraded with modern resources, supported by the Punjab government, and the transition to the Special Initiative Protocol is enhancing service delivery to citizens.

The visit was attended by DIG Operations Lahore Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, AIG Admin Sahibzada Bilal Umar, CTO Lahore Amara Athar, SP Model Town Irtza Komail, SDPO Gulberg ASP Syeda Shaherbano, and other officers.
