IG Punjab Recognizes Lahore Police Officers for Exceptional Performance

Lahore, In a commendable act of acknowledgment, Inspector General of Punjab Police, Dr. Usman Anwar, awarded certificates of appreciation to the officers and officials of the Iqbal Town and Sadar Division of Lahore Police for their outstanding performance in duty and significant contributions to crime control.

According to Punjab Police, the recognition event saw the distribution of commendation certificates to high-performing officers, including SP Iqbal Town division Akhlaq ullah Tarar and SP Sadar Division Sidra Khan, among others. These officers led successful operations, including the dismantling of a fraudulent kidney removal network and apprehension of criminals involved in financial theft from bank customers.

The highlighted police actions under the leadership of the awarded officers have notably improved crime statistics in their respective divisions, with a significant reduction in serious crime rates and effective resolution of robbery and murder cases. Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized the importance of intelligence-based operations, gender crime prevention, and the crackdown on drug trafficking and illegal kite flying, urging continued rigor and efficiency in these efforts.
