Lahore, March 07, 2022 (PPI-OT):IG Punjab Inspector General Police Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan has issued orders to have security high-alerts across the province. IG Punjab has directed all the RPOs and DPOs of the province to enhance security of sensitive places and especially security plan of minority worship places, public places and religious spots should be reviewed.
Rao Sardar Ali Khan said search, sweep and intelligence-based operations should be intensified while the check-in process should be made effective on entrances and exits of districts and provinces routes. IG Punjab said that patrolling time of other petrol forces including Dolphin, Peru should be increased and the checking process should be made more efficient.
IG Punjab said that security arrangements of Pak Australia cricket series should be improved further and supervisory officers should monitor security arrangements and traffic management by going into the field. Rao Sardar Ali Khan said that more than 4500 security personnel are available at the Rawalpindi for the Pak Australia Cricket Series, security teams are taking steps for players as well as cricket fans. Rao Sardar Ali Khan said that police, special branches, CTDs and sensitive institutions are working together and no effort will be spared to protect the people’s wealth and goods.
