Lahore, June 01, 2022 (PPI-OT):Punjab Inspector General of Police Rao Sardar Ali Khan has said that Constable Mudassir Iqbal has attained a high status of martyrdom by sacrificing his life while on duty. IG Punjab said that Punjab Police is proud of the sacrifices of its martyrs and Pakistani nation will never forget them.
Rao Sardar Ali Khan said that Punjab Police will not leave Mudassar Iqbal Shaheed’s family alone at any step of life and all privileges including Shaheed package will be given to Mudassar Iqbal Shaheed’s family without any delay. IG Punjab said that all possible facilities would be provided to the children of Constable Mudassir Iqbal Shaheed for the best education and upbringing.
Punjab Police would be by their side at every opportunity of happiness and sorrow. He expressed these views while meeting the family of Constable Mudassir Iqbal Shaheed at his house at 129 RB, Sahiyanwala, and Faisalabad today.
According to details, IG Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan Shaheed went to Faisalabad to meet the family of Constable Mudassir Iqbal. IG Punjab laid floral wreaths on grave of Shaheed constable Mudassir Iqbal and offered Fateha for higher ranks.
Later, IG Punjab met family of Constable Mudassar Iqbal Shaheed at his house at 129 RB, Sahiyanwala and offered condolences to his family. Constable Mudassir Iqbal embraced martyrdom during an accident at Attock while on duty during long march. Mudassar Iqbal Shaheed’s family members include his mother, widow and two children.
His eldest daughter Elaaf Mudassar is one and half years old while his youngest son Haris Mudassir is only five months old. IG Punjab while meeting family of Shaheed, ensured every possible cooperation of department. RPO Faisalabad Babar Sarfraz Alpa and CPO Faisalabad Ali Nasir Rizvi and other officers were also present on the occasion.
