Lahore: Under the directive of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, the weekly general parade was conducted across the province, including in Lahore. The parade featured participation from various units and was closely monitored by senior police officials.
According to a statement by Punjab Police, the parade included contingents from Police Lines, Dolphin Force, Anti-Riot Force, Traffic Police, Mujahid Squad, SPU, Ladies Police, OCU, and the Investigation and Operation Wings of police stations. Participants were inspected by senior officers, who also evaluated the turnout of both officers and personnel.
The parade, held every Monday, aims to maintain alertness and promote discipline, unity, and brotherhood among the police force, as stated by Dr. Anwar. District officers also reviewed facilities such as the Canteen, Motor Transport Wing, and uniform depots. Dr. Anwar emphasized that parades are a vital demonstration of discipline and contribute to the fitness and cohesion of the force.
