Lahore, Inspector General Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, met with a delegation from the Christian community led by Reverend Dr. Khalid M. Naz at the Central Police Office.
According to Punjab Police, the meeting included prominent members of the Christian community and Regional Police Officer (RPO) Multan, Captain (Rtd) Sohail Chaudhry. The gathering marked the upcoming Christmas celebrations and the birth anniversary of Hazrat Issa A.S. with a cake-cutting ceremony.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized that the Punjab Police views its Christian officers and officials as vital assets, akin to a family. He announced that special functions would be organized for Christian employees in all police lines and offices across the province. Additionally, Dr. Anwar assured foolproof security for Christmas programs and Christian places of worship throughout Punjab. He also highlighted the commendable services provided by the Meesaq centers of Punjab Police to Christian citizens in all districts, including Lahore. Reverend Dr. Khalid M. Naz, in appreciation, presented bouquets to IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar and RPO Multan Captain (Rtd) Sohail Chaudhry.
