Lahore, July 04, 2023 (PPI-OT): Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar paid a surprise visit to the Liberty Driving Center and Police Service Center and reviewed the performance of the staff posted at the Driving Licensing Center. Instructing the licensing staff of Punjab to perform their duties more diligently for the convenience of the citizens, IG said that services should be provided to the citizens coming for driving license with good manners. The IG Punjab further said that the old file system is over, every citizen having a National Identity Card can get a license from any center in Punjab.
On this occasion SDPO Gulbarg ASP Syeda Shehrbanu gave a briefing to IG Punjab about the performance of Police Service Center. IG Punjab said that police service centers are a very important project of public service delivery compatible with modern technology. IG Punjab said that for the convenience of citizens, Punjab Police has separated policing and service delivery. Senior officers including DIG Headquarters Humayun Bashir Tarar and ASP Usman were also present on the spot.
