IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar’s directive / 85 more officials have been promoted

Lahore, July 15, 2023 (PPI-OT): On the instructions of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the series of promotions of officers and officials is going on according to merit and seniority and in this regard, 85 more officials have been promoted. According to the details, on the direction of Dr. Usman Anwar, the promotion board meeting was held in RPO office Multan in which ASI personnel were promoted from constable. Among those promoted, 29 ASIs were promoted to sub-inspectors, 28 head constables were promoted to ASIs and 28 constables were promoted to the rank of head constables. Spokesman of Punjab Police said that among those promoted are officers and officials of Multan region.

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that 7 thousand more promotions are being done according to merit and seniority in all the districts and ranges of the province including Lahore. Delay is being given. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar ordered the RPOs and DPOs to complete merit-based promotions at the earliest. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directed that the promoted officers and officials should ensure the performance of their duties with new enthusiasm and determination. Speed up anti-crime by arresting robbers, thieves, bandits and criminals involved in organized crime. IG Punjab said that the benefits of these developments can truly reach the people through the selfless service of the citizens and the elimination of crimes.
