Lahore, July 11, 2023 (PPI-OT): Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar encouraged by meeting the gifted warden of Lahore Traffic Police Dr. Muhammad Abid Nazir on completion of PhD during service. IG Punjab affixed a name plate with the name of Dr. Muhammad Abid Nazir on his uniform and awarded Dr. Muhammad Abid Nazir with a certificate of appreciation for his outstanding achievement. Dr. Usman Anwar also congratulated Dr. Muhammad Abid Nazir for completing his Ph.D.

Dr. Muhammad Abid Nazir has been serving in Traffic Police Lahore for 17 years. Dr. Muhammad Abid Nazir received his PhD degree in International Relations from Punjab University, previously Dr. Abid did his MPhil in Peace and Conflict Studies from NDU, while Dr. Muhammad Abid Nazir did his Masters in Criminology and Security Studies. completed Dr. Abid Nazir has also obtained the degree of LLB.

IG Punjab said that obtaining Masters, MPhil and PhD degrees during the service is a testimony to the ability of Dr. Muhammad Abid Nazir and educated and capable officers and personnel like Dr. Muhammad Abid Nazir are valuable assets of Punjab Police. IG Punjab said that the process of encouraging such capable officers and officials will continue at all levels. Dr. Muhammad Abid Nazir thanked the Chief of Punjab Police for the honor he received.
