Lahore, Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, has been actively overseeing the progress of various construction projects for police offices and stations in Lahore, issuing directives for their swift completion.

According to Punjab Police, during his recent visits to several sites, IG Punjab Dr. Anwar inspected the ongoing construction works at police station Shafiqabad, the SDPO office Shafiqabad, and the under-construction building of the DIG Operations Lahore office. Accompanied by DIG Welfare Ghazi Muhammad Salah ud din and other senior officers, he took briefings and provided specific instructions to ensure the projects meet high standards and are equipped with modern facilities.

The tour included visits to the buildings of Gulberg Police Station, Ichra Police Station, DSP CIA Ichra, and the Special Initiative Police Station and SDPO office of Model Town. Dr. Anwar emphasized that the upgrade of police stations and SDPO offices aims to enhance public service delivery and improve police functioning.

He directed supervisory officers to expedite and complete the pending work under their supervision promptly, highlighting the importance of these infrastructure developments in providing better services to citizens and creating a more effective police force.
