Lahore, August 02, 2023 (PPI-OT): Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has paid tribute to Elite Force jawan Muhammad Ali who was martyred in Mianwali in Mianwali. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that Head Constable Muhammad Ali died forever in the path of duty. Punjab Police will never forget the eternal sacrifice of its brave soldiers. Dr. Usman Anwar further said that all possible care will be taken for the welfare of the martyr’s family, education and employment of the children. Head Constable Muhammad Ali was killed in an encounter with advertisers in the hilly area of Makarwal police station.

IG Punjab instructed to provide the best medical facilities to SHO Makdarwal Liaquat Rasool, Elite Constable Saeedur Rehman, Constables Amir Majeed and Muhammad Ijaz who were injured in the incident and said that DPO Mianwali is the injured officers and personnel. Ensure steps are taken under personal supervision for treatment. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar also sought a report of the incident from RPO Sargodha and ordered the formation of a special team to arrest the accused of firing on the police team. IG Punjab said that the accused should be arrested as soon as possible and brought to justice and be punished.
