Lahore, August 01, 2023 (PPI-OT): On the instructions of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, priority measures are being taken for the health welfare of the police force and in this regard more than 48 lakh rupees have been released for the treatment of employees suffering from various disorders. IG Punjab approved the payment of 48 lakhs 29 thousand 905 rupees for 27 cases sent from various districts and units including Lahore. With this amount, modern treatment facilities will be available to the personnel suffering from various disorders during service, IG Punjab.
Dr. Usman Anwar said that Lahore Traffic Police Warden Mohsin Mushtaq has been approved for the treatment of lumbar spine. Constable Muhammad Arif and Special Branch Assistant Director Kashif Ali have been given Rs 10 lakh each for kidney transplant. ASI Abdul Razzaq was given a leg while Constable Muhammad Ashfaq was given 03 lakhs each for eye treatment, Head Constable Muhammad Zafar Iqbal and Constable Aftab Ahmed.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar ordered to continue priority measures for the health welfare of the force and their families and said that all available resources should be utilized for the treatment of the force as well as their families. Under the direction of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the Welfare Management Committee meeting was held at the Central Police Office. Welfare Ghazi Mohammad Salahuddin, AIG Discipline Ahsan Saifullah and AIG Welfare Naveed Ajmal attended the meeting. The committee had sent the above mentioned cases to IG Punjab Dr Usman Anwar for final approval.
