Lahore, March 25, 2023 (PPI-OT): Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has said that whenever the Election Commission announces to hold elections, Punjab Police will play its full role in conducting peaceful, transparent and impartial elections in the province.
IG Punjab said that I was blamed that we are hatching a plan to kill our own jawans and then people will be killed in retaliation. IG Punjab said, come to any court in the world and form a judicial commission, rather come and talk at any forum of the United Nations. If this is proved, then I will accept every punishment.

IG Punjab said that the Punjab Police is the protector, we are not going to kill anyone, but the police will repulse every attack by such terrorists and anti-social elements and those who harm the security of the country. IG Punjab said that our 90 personnel were injured and their heads were hit with stones, but those who threatened our children, we did not fire on their children. IG Punjab said that the current command and force of the police will spare no effort to protect life and property of citizens and their honour.
Dr. Usman Anwar ordered CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamiyana to provide better security to Zaman Park. Instructing DIG Operation Lahore, IG Punjab said that fool proof security should be given for upcoming session while the security teams should provide better security to all future rallies.
IG Punjab said that the police force is committed to ensure the fulfilment of its duties according to the constitution and law of Pakistan and will ensure performance of its duties with the same determination. IG Punjab said that the accusers should prove their allegations and if they cannot prove it, then redress it. He said that the police force will never respond to any accusation or abuse with accusation or abuse.
Punjab Police is a professional force that will respond to abuses in the best performance of professional duties. IG Punjab said that if anyone has doubts about me or my force, he should come and talk to us, we will satisfy him with an answer. IG Punjab said that the Punjab Police will ensure the protection of life and property of every citizen of Pakistan. He expressed these views today while addressing the policemen of Lahore Police at Qila Gujjar Singh Police Lines.
In his address to the police force, IG Punjab said that some relationships are of friendship and some are of loyalty, mine is your relationship of loyalty, believe me there is no difference between command and constabulary, we are all one.

While addressing, CCPO Bilal Siddiq Kamiyana said that Lahore Police should work hard during Ramadan and ensure the security of all important places including Ramzan Bazaar and control violation of loud speakers and kite flying for creating a sense of security for human life and speed up the priority measures.
