IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar Commits to Addressing Police Personnel and Family Issues

Lahore, Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, has taken proactive steps to resolve the concerns of police personnel and their families. At a recent meeting at the Central Police Office, Dr. Anwar issued directives aimed at providing immediate relief based on the grievances presented by the attendees.

According to Punjab Police, Dr. Anwar responded to various requests during the meeting. He authorized the recruitment process for the son of the late Inspector Ahmad Ali and directed the DIG Establishment-2 to assist with the employment of ASI Muhammad Akram’s son. Further instructions were given to honor Inspector Shakil Ahmed with the status of a Ghazi and to promote Inspector Syed Khawar Hussain.

Additionally, a medical grant for Constable Saeed Ahmed’s surgery was approved. Dr. Anwar emphasized that addressing these issues promptly remains a key priority to ensure the welfare of police officers and their families.
