IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar Allocates Funds for Injured Police Officers’ Medical Expenses


Karachi, Punjab Police’s Inspector General, Dr. Usman Anwar, has taken significant steps to support the health and welfare of police officers injured in the line of duty, with a recent allocation of funds for their medical expenses.



According to Punjab Police, another 17 lakh rupees have been released for the medical treatment of officers from various districts, including Lahore. Specific allocations were made to several officers, including Ghazi Constable Asif Ali of Lahore Police, who received Rs. 1 lakh, and Constable Saqlain Nawaz of DG Khan Police, who was granted Rs. 5 lakh for treatment. Injured ASI Arshad Hussain of Rahim Yar Khan received Rs. 5 lakh, while Ghazi Constable Sajid Ali Khan and Ghazi Constable Saeed ur Rehman from Attock were each given Rs. 5 lakh and Rs. 1 lakh, respectively, for their medical expenses.



IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has directed the continuation of health welfare measures for the police force. He emphasized that all possible support should be extended for the treatment of officers and personnel facing health issues. He also reiterated his commitment to ensuring the best possible treatment and early rehabilitation for injured officers and officials.



This initiative reflects the Punjab Police’s commitment to the well-being of its personnel, particularly those who have suffered injuries while performing their duties.
