IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar Allocates Funds for Health Welfare of Police Employees’ Families

Lahore, Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, has taken significant steps to ensure the health welfare of police employees and their families, with the recent allocation of nearly 09 lakh rupees for various medical treatments.

According to Punjab Police, the funds were distributed to support the treatment of family members of police personnel. Traffic Warden Majid Ali received 03 lakh rupees for his son Muhammad Khuzaima Majid’s treatment. Constable Muhammad Yaar Awan was given 2.5 lakh rupees for his daughter’s cancer treatment. Head Constable Ateeq ur Rahman of DG Khan Police received 01 lakh and 40 thousand rupees for his sons’ medical needs. Additionally, Lahore Police gardener Liaqat Ali was provided Rs. 22 thousand for his son’s speech and hearing treatment. PHP Constable Imran Faiz received 70 thousand rupees for his daughter’s treatment, and sweeper Sajjad Maseeh was allocated 22 thousand rupees for his son’s hernia operation.

Dr. Usman Anwar has directed the continuation and acceleration of health welfare measures for the police force and their families, utilizing funds from the police welfare fund and welfare projects. He has instructed Regional Police Officers (RPOs) and District Police Officers (DPOs) to promptly submit cases related to health welfare of subordinate employees, along with relevant documents, to the Central Police Office for timely assistance.
