Lahore, 15 Oct 2023: Inspector General Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, met with DIG Organized Crime Unit Lahore Captain (Rtd) Liaqat Ali Malik at the Central Police Office today. Accompanying the DIG were DSP Organized Crime Nawankot Rizwan Cheema and ASI Ramzan. During the meeting, Dr. Usman Anwar recognized the exemplary efforts of DSP Rizwan Cheema and ASI Ramzan in curbing criminal activities, presenting them with certificates of appreciation and cash rewards.

Praising the Organized Crime Unit of Lahore, IG Punjab remarked that it stands out in terms of performance among the units of Punjab Police. Echoing this sentiment, DIG Captain (Rtd) Liaqat Ali Malik highlighted the intensified operations against high-risk criminals and those engaged in organized crime under the direction of IG Punjab.

Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized that acknowledging police officers and staff for their commendable performance is a valued tradition within the police department, one that will persist across all ranks. He added that officers and personnel who show dedication, competence, and commitment serve as exemplars for the entire force.
