Lahore, In recognition of their exceptional service, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar presented commendation certificates and cash rewards to multiple officers and officials across several districts. The award recipients, hailed from various departments and ranks, including the Legal, Investigation Operations Lahore Police, Dolphin Squad, and even units dedicated to combatting organized crime.
According to a news release by the Punjab Police, a ceremony to honor these officers took place at the Central Police Office. Among those who received commendation certificates were AIG Legal (HRC) Sheikh Asif Ali, Muhammad Saleem AIG Legal, DSPs Tanveer Amjad, Muhammad Imtiaz Ali, Shahid Nawaz Watto, and Muhammad Farrukh Khan. Moreover, officers from Lahore, Sheikhupura, and Faisalabad region were recognized. IG Punjab emphasized the importance of dedication and hard work, urging all officers to intensify their efforts in eradicating crime and streamlining public service delivery.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, while addressing the gathering, underscored the significance of appreciating hardworking and diligent officers, stating that such practices boost morale and drive the entire force towards enhanced performance. Dr. Anwar advised senior officers to improve the system of gathering intelligence information for timely crime intervention and called for an acceleration in intelligence-based operations against drug-related crimes and organized criminal activities.
