Lahore, In a collaborative effort to mentor and guide the next generation of civil servants, Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, along with senior police officials, visited the Civil Services Academy Walton. The visit saw a delegation including MD Safe City Authority Ahsan Younis, SSP Mustansar Feroze, CTO Lahore Amara Athar, PSO to IG Punjab Hamza Amanullah, and ASP Gulberg Shaerbano Naqvi sharing their valuable experiences and insights on good governance and the challenges encountered in professional life with under-training officers.
According to Punjab Police, the visit focused on enlightening young officers about various aspects of public service, with an emphasis on leveraging social media as a tool for enhancing service delivery and combating misinformation. IG Punjab highlighted the importance of using all available resources to ensure effective public service delivery and the provision of justice.
MD Safe City Authority Ahsan Younas offered advice on navigating administrative challenges, while ASP Syeda Shaheerbano Naqvi discussed the realities of field postings. SSP Mustansar Feroze and CTO Lahore Amara Athar covered essential skills such as multi-tasking and maintaining a work-life balance. The session concluded with an interactive Q and A, where the visiting officials provided comprehensive guidance to prepare the trainee officers for their future roles.
