IG Punjab Allocates Funds for Medical Expenses of Police Personnel and Their Families

Lahore, Demonstrating a strong commitment to the welfare of police personnel, Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has directed the disbursement of 11.5 million Pakistani rupees to cover the medical expenses of officers and their families across various districts.

According to Punjab Police, this funding initiative includes significant allocations for several officers in need of medical care. For instance, Mudaser Iqbal of the Police Training College Multan received two and a half lakh rupees for his wife’s surgery, while Constable Muhammad Naeem of Multan, injured in the line of duty, was granted two lakh rupees. Additional funds were distributed among other personnel for similar health-related needs. This financial aid is part of a broader effort by IG Punjab to ensure the well-being of the force and their families, underscoring a policy of robust support for health-related expenses.
