LAHORE, Punjab Police’s dedication to the health welfare of its officers continues as IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has directed the release of additional funds for the medical treatment of personnel injured in the line of duty. This initiative reinforces the department’s commitment to its members’ well-being.
According to Punjab Police, the funds totaling 18 lakh rupees have been allocated for the treatment of injured police employees from various districts. The financial assistance has been distributed among several officers, with specific amounts provided based on individual circumstances.
IG Punjab Dr. Anwar emphasized the importance of prompt and efficient support for the medical needs of the police force and instructed regional and district officers to prioritize the welfare of personnel, ensuring that all cases are addressed swiftly and with adequate support.
