IG Punjab Addresses Police Personnel Concerns in Strategic Meeting

Lahore: In a concerted effort to address the concerns of police personnel, Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar convened a meeting at the Central Police Office, where he met with police employees and their families. During this session, IG Punjab listened to their grievances and issued immediate directives for relief and resolution.

Among the issues addressed, Dr. Anwar directed the Additional IG Punjab to expedite the promotion process for Sub-Inspector Saad Azeem. Similarly, he instructed DIG Establishment-I to take necessary actions regarding the promotion request for Sub-Inspector Muhammad Waseem Aslam.

In response to a request for financial assistance by Ghazi Sub-Inspector Amjad Farooq, DIG Welfare and Finance was tasked with providing the needed relief. For Lady Sub-Inspector Sanam Shehzadi’s request for official residence, CCPO Lahore was instructed to take appropriate action.

The meeting also saw directives issued for applications concerning the families of fallen officers. AIG Finance was directed to offer relief following a request from the sister of Shaheed Constable Amir Rasheed. Additionally, DIG Welfare and Finance received instructions to proceed with plot allocation for the mother of Shaheed Constable Kamran Ali.

Furthermore, Langari Adil Sarwar’s request for official accommodation was addressed with CCPO Lahore directed to facilitate the necessary arrangements. Dr. Anwar also issued directives on various other applications related to discipline, administration, promotion, and welfare matters.
