IG Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi Enhances Operations and Security During CTD Complex Visit

Islamabad, Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, recently conducted an inspection of the CTD Complex and Security Division. He focused on optimizing operational efficiency and security measures, issuing directives to enhance embassy security, and inspecting ongoing construction at the CTD facilities.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, during his visit, IG Rizvi evaluated the various offices and branches within the complex. He ordered officers to ensure timely attendance, personal oversight of duties, and adherence to performance standards. Emphasizing the importance of preparation, Rizvi mandated that officers be well-informed and equipped with necessary gadgets before deployment. He underscored a zero-tolerance policy towards negligence and carelessness in their duties.

Furthermore, the IG directed the Security Division to bolster the security at embassies, specifically to enhance the search process at the Diplomatic Enclave’s entry and exit points and to ensure effective monitoring through Safe City cameras. He reaffirmed the Islamabad Police’s commitment to maintaining peace and order, safeguarding citizens’ lives and property, and encouraged public cooperation with the police through the emergency helpline “Pukar 15” and the ICT – “15” app.
