Islamabad: The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, convened a meeting with Safe City officers to review and further enhance the operational capabilities of the Safe City project.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting included senior police officers, IT and technical teams from Safe City Islamabad, where IG Rizvi evaluated the current initiatives for updating the project and its overall performance. Key points discussed included the need for upgrading software, developing new applications, and enhancing data protection measures.
IG Rizvi emphasized the expansion of artificial intelligence capabilities within the existing camera infrastructure, ensuring robust data protection, and strengthening the Cyber Crime Wing of Islamabad Police to address emerging threats effectively.
