Srinagar, November 27, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the International Forum for Justice Human Rights JK (IFJHRJK) has denounced the Director General of Police, Dilbag Singh, for his statement regarding Hyderpora killing. Dilbag Singh yesterday claimed that civilians killed in Hyderpora encounter Dr Mudasir Gul, Altaf Ahmad Butt, and Muhammad Amer Magarey, had links with ‘militants’.
The IFJHRJK Chairman, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo, in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the DGP’s statement was aimed at putting pressure on the inquiry team, probing the Hyderpora incident. As the inquiry team is investigating the matter, the DGP should not interfere in the smooth process of investigation, he added.
Ahsan Untoo said that those involved in the killings were trying to impede the process of investigations and that the authorities should instead launch a judicial enquiry into the incident. The IFJHRJK Chairman said that, on one hand, the Indian police are killing civilians and, on the other, are issuing obnoxious statements to cover up their heinous crimes.
He also urged the international human rights organizations and the world community to take note of the massive rights violations in IIOJK by Indian troops and hold India accountable for its atrocities in the territory.
