IED Blast Injures Two CRPF Personnel in Chhattisgarh

Raipur, Chhattisgarh, Two personnel from the Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) have been injured in an improvised explosive device (IED) explosion in Chhattisgarh, a state experiencing disturbances.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the explosion took place during an operation by the CRPF’s 195th Battalion. The personnel were removing a banner poster near a bridge on the Barsur Palli route in the Dantewada district when the IED detonated. The incident was confirmed by police officials.

This event follows another recent attack in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada district, reported on November 27, where assailants set fire to at least 14 vehicles and machines engaged in construction works. The police provided details of this earlier attack, indicating a pattern of disturbances targeting security and development efforts in the region.

The injuries sustained by the CRPF personnel in the IED blast underscore the ongoing challenges faced by security forces in maintaining peace and order in areas of Chhattisgarh affected by such incidents.
