KARACHI: The Karachi Show, a key event of the International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS) 2024, was held at the Nishan-e-Pakistan at Sea View. The event, featuring a range of military demonstrations, was attended by a notable array of dignitaries and officials, including the Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, who was present as the Chief Guest.

According to Pakistan Navy, the Karachi Show included a Marines drill, counter-terrorism demonstration, free fall jumps, and a fly past executed by air assets from the Pakistan Army and Pakistan Navy. These activities provided spectators with an insight into the operational tactics and maneuvers used by Pakistan’s Armed Forces. The event underscored the Pakistan Navy’s dedication to national defense within the maritime domain and highlighted the inter-services collaboration among Pakistan’s Armed Forces.

The show drew a significant number of foreign dignitaries, senior government officials, journalists, and representatives from federal ministries, various departments of the Government of Sindh, the Armed Forces of Pakistan, and Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs), reflecting its wide-reaching significance and impact.
