Islamabad, September 13, 2023 (PPI-OT): Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan conducted a meeting with administrative officers from all police stations at Central Police Officer to boost the operational efficiency of Islamabad Capital Police, a public relations officer said.
He said that, the meeting was attended by the AIG Operations, along with all administrative officers from police stations. ICCPO Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan discussed various issues related to the performance of the police stations and issued directives to further improve operational duties.
ICCPO Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan said that the admin officer of the police station will not have any general duty and the investigation of all the cases entrusted to him will be withdrawn.
He directed the officers to thoroughly review all registers at the police stations, streamline the station’s operations, and take necessary actions to enhance efficiency. The officers were urged to keep the Incharge Police Stations informed about all activities and advancements.
ICCPO Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan emphasized the importance of maintaining the appearance and upkeep of police station buildings. He instructed that all complaints received at police stations must be registered at 15 in a timely manner.
He stressed the importance of discipline and accountability among officers and asked that all officers strictly adhere to regulations.
Administrative officers were instructed to complete all pending tasks by 16 of this month. Moreover, the relocation of Noon Police Station to a newly constructed building was announced, and the tenure of all police station muharrar will be reviewed.
ICCPO Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan directed all officers to discharge their duties with integrity and dedication. He emphasized that negligence or complacency in any professional capacity would not be tolerated. All senior officers were directed to work closely with their subordinates to promptly address any issues.
