Lahore: Players and officials involved in the ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifier recently visited the Wagah Border on an invitation from Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi. The group observed the emblematic flag-lowering ceremony, which is a celebrated daily event on the Pakistan-India border, and engaged in the chanting of patriotic slogans.
During the visit, team captains were presented with souvenirs from the Pakistan Rangers Punjab. The players expressed their admiration for the parade performed by the Rangers and took the opportunity to capture photographs with the personnel.
