New Delhi: The I.N.D.I.A. bloc has issued a strong critique of the Modi government’s management of the situation in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, particularly highlighting issues following the Doda operation. The bloc accused the government of prioritizing misleading narratives over the country’s national interests.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the Congress party, a key member of the I.N.D.I.A. bloc, expressed concerns about the national security implications of the government’s actions. “We cannot endanger our national security by indulging in false bravado, fake narratives, and high-decibel whitewashing,” said a spokesperson from the Congress party. The statement also called for a thorough investigation into the recent encounters and questioned the overall approach of the government in handling the delicate situation.
The critique from the I.N.D.I.A. bloc highlights ongoing tensions and calls for a shift towards more transparent and accountable governance concerning national security issues. The government has not yet responded to the allegations made by the opposition bloc.
