Lahore, July 01, 2022 (PPI-OT):Chief Minister Punjab Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that he is a pro-democratic political worker adding that he struggled for 27 years and provided Rs. 200 billion subsidy on the flour for the masses without the Cabinet. CM while talking with the media representative in the Punjab Assembly stated that we were serving the masses and would continue to do so.

CM said “The facts are before the masses, I did not demand to give me six months then I will give results. I started providing service to the creatures of Allah Almighty from the very onset”. CM said that he was stopped from giving Rs. 200 billion subsidy without the cabinet. He further maintained that he had the feelings to provide care to the masses.

He said “I subsidized 10 kg flour to Rs.160 and today 10 kg flour bag is available at Rs. 490 across Punjab”. He said “I solemnly say by fearing Allah Almighty that the masses will express their full confidence in the leadership of Nawaz Sharif on 17th July.

CM in reply to a question lamented that on the one hand Imran Niazi was misleading the masses by reducing the petrol prices and on the other hand was making agreements with the IMF. Everyone knows that there was no electricity and PML-N brought 12000 megawatt electricity in the system.

When we left the government in 2018 there was zero load shedding and the petrol prices were increased with a heavy heart. We want to save the country instead of the government. We came to save the country and took the political burden in order to improve the economy”.

CM while answering a question said that the ban on the media had been lifted from the Punjab Assembly according to the promise being made. In reply to the question, Hamza Shahbaz denounced that Imran Niazi and his consorts spoke against the friendly countries and the institutions and it is highly intolerable.

He stated that the reality behind international conspiracy had come to surface and now efforts are being made to conceal the stealing of Farah Gogi and Toshakhana. CM in reply to a question said that there was no mutual coordination in the view point of PTI and Pervaiz Elahi.

He said that a number of constitutional crises came in Punjab in the last three months and they deserve to be written in the Guinness Book of World Record. “Sometime, election is postponed, sometimes oath taking and sometimes Governor is going to be appointed.

Sometimes summary is being rejected and the way the Deputy Speaker was subjected to a fatal attack, everyone knows who was giving gestures of appreciation”, CM concluded.
