Hyderabad, Asaduddin Owaisi, the Member of Parliament from Hyderabad and chief of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen, has expressed alarm over the recent surge in violence against Muslims across various parts of India following the Lok Sabha elections.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Owaisi has voiced concerns over what he perceives as targeted attacks on the Muslim community by the Sangh Parivar, particularly following their electoral losses. Highlighting specific incidents on his X social media handle, Owaisi reported that two Muslims were killed in Uttar Pradesh and noted the demolition of Muslim homes in Akbarnagar and the lynching of two Muslims in Chhattisgarh.
The Hyderabad MP questioned whether these acts of violence were acts of retribution by the Sangh Parivar against the Muslim community. His statements have brought attention to the increasing hostilities faced by Muslims in the post-election period.
